Service Description

Course description: The course provides the students proper procedures on blood collection, handling of equipment and supplies, complications of phlebotomy and professional issues on quality assurance, interpersonal communication and management. The course provides the students the theory and practical training in obtaining adequate and correct blood specimens by capillary or venipuncture methods as well learning patient rights, infection control, universal precautions, taking patient vital signs and the responsibilities of phlebotomy technicians. Upon passing, students will receive a Certificate of Completion. Pre-requisite: High School Diploma or equivalent Duration: 6 weeks (Weekday classes) , 11 weeks (Weekend classes) Fee: $850 (Including registration fee, books and other materials) Schedule: Time flexible -Morning, afternoon & weekend classes.
